JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and Execute Training Programs:
Develop and implement training plans for promoters, merchandisers, dealers and in-house staffs, ensuring they are well-versed in products, brand values, and sales strategies.
Dealers Consultation:
Provide ongoing advice and support to dealers and dealers’ staffs, addressing challenges with customer concerns, product queries, and technical issues.
Observation and Evaluation of Sales Interactions:
Regularly and Monitor sales-customer interactions, identifying areas for improvement in product presentations and handling objections.
Organize Role-Playing and Simulation Exercises:
Organize role-playing exercises to simulate real customer scenarios, helping salespeople practice skills in a controlled setting.
Sales Strategy Training:
Advise on upselling strategies and tactics to improve customer engagement and drive sales.
Roadshows and Events Support:
Attending roadshows and events to present latest product in terms on products specifications and demonstrations on usage nationwide.
Ad-hoc tasks:
Attend to ad-hoc tasks requested and assigned by Superior.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Proven work experience as a Retail Trainer, Sales Trainer, or in a similar training role within the retail industry.
- Hands-on experience delivering training in a dynamic retail environment, preferably with electronic appliances or consumer goods.
- Familiarity with retail operations, sales processes, and the specific challenges faced in the sales of high-end electronics or similar products.
- Availability to travel regularly and visit retail stores nationwide to provide in-person training, support, and guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full training cycle, including identifying training needs, conducting in-person training sessions, and leveraging e-learning platforms for remote or supplementary learning.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Capable of motivating and energizing employees to reach and exceed sales targets and performance quotas.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in training, such as Train-the-Trainer (TTT) or Certified Professional Trainer (CPT), are considered a plus
The Product Trainer will work closely with Department Head to ensure that all training programs align with overall business goals and contribute to higher sales performance.
This position requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, flexibility to travel, and an enthusiasm for staying updated on new training techniques and industry trends.
