Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor import shipments in collaboration with forwarding agents, control towers, and supply planning teams to ensure agreed service levels are met.
  • Receive shipping documents and reports from 3PLs, verify accuracy, and perform goods receipt in the system.
  • Reconcile inventory with 3PL to maintain high inventory accuracy.
  • Manage and document inventory write-offs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for inventory availability for the commercial business.
  • Monitor supply levels and provide weekly reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics and supply chain team.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for local and regional teams.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, particularly for 3PL and vendor services.
  • Verify payments, perform goods receipts, and manage financial tabulations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal Quality and EHS standards.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Coordinate redressing activities with planning, co-packers, marketing, and warehouse teams.
  • Manage customs broker performance and billing processes.
  • Handle TPO and vendor billing related to the CS&L team.
  • Oversee pallet utilization both internally and with preferred distributors.
  • Conduct bi-annual stock counts independently with 3PL partners.

Scope of Accountability

  • Responsible for the proactive management of freight forwarders and customs clearance service providers to meet customer service levels.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives with logistics service providers and sites to optimize logistics spend.
  • Communicate inventory availability dates to the commercial team to manage customer expectations.
  • Ensure supplier invoices are processed in line with agreed commercial terms.
  • Must be capable of working independently and managing priorities with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications & Experience

A. Educational Background:

  • Minimum: Diploma in Logistics, Transportation, or related field.

B. Experience:

  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics and warehouse operations.

C. Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, especially inbound freight and planning.
  • Proficiency in SAP, particularly in the Warehouse & Distribution modules.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., JDE) is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with logistics service providers to drive performance improvements.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Basic finance knowledge for invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to supply chain tasks.
